Ricardo Frota/Ecology of Sound

Sound and Vision FEATURING Ricardo Frota
Ecology of Sound

Ricardo Frota builds the instrument above using ordinary household tools and recycled materials that he found in his basement, and stuff purchased from Goodwill.
He explains as he works! You can even try this project yourself.
When he's done building it he finishes by playing it for us.
This was fun and inspiring!

This is the entire show 'Ricardo Frota - Ecology of Sound'  from beginning to end.

Ricardo Frota plays several of his handbuilt instruments.

Ricardo has made a cello from a tree trunk and one piece of wire that he plays for you.

A discarded Christmas tree has become an instrument in Ricardo's hands.
